This Garden Cottage is an excerise in Net Zero energy usage and comfortable minimal space Dwelling. The Cottage is engineered to be off the grid, with a soapstone masonry heater, rainwater catchment and greywater systems, and a Humanure composting toilet. It also features solar hot water integrated with hydronic radiant floor heating, and an accessible vegetated garden roof terrace.
